An Introduction
Many patients come to us after having long-term respiratory problems and have feelings of hopelessness. Our specialized Respiratory / Ventilator Program offers hope for these patients.
Maximizing individual outcomes and capabilities in a caring and compassionate setting is at the heart of our goal-oriented program. We focus on an interdisciplinary agenda in which we effectively combine respiratory, nutrition, and diversified therapies that maximize the individual resident's outcome.
The results are intended to strengthen the resident's
overall health status. Consequently, we may then be
able to wean the residents as they become stronger physically
and mentally in our care.

Weaning is:
"the gradual withdrawal of a patient from dependence
on a life support system or other form of therapy"

The program combines the technological capabilities and professional support that assures quality care for the respiratory/ ventilator resident's specialized needs and care.
